This coming weekend (17 to 19 April) KIMEP hosts BarCamp Central Asia 2009, an "un-conference" for developing new media skills. Participants include professionals and amateurs, experts and newbies.

This should be a great opportunity for anyone looking to learn more about the latest networked tools, to interact with people using new media in the region, or to get their feet wet with new technologies.

KIMEP students and faculty are welcome to attend. Most of the conference events will happen on Saturday and Sunday. The conference will be located in KIMEP's New Building, with registration in the second floor lobby of the New Building.
