Political ad
Political advertising is not so popular in Kazakhstan. We can see some of them only before election.
I think we have some kind of political pr. For example, Channel “Khabar” always demonstrate our politicians in positive site. There are not any critics to their activities.
One of the most popular politicians today is Prime Minister Karim Masimov. Every day, even several times a day we can see him on TV. And it does not matter what kind of issue he is solving. It can be official announcement or just his visit to some factory, museum. read more »

Faces are important
in political advertisments with election compaign in my opinion, the main role play the faces. People who don't know the program of candidates are just look at their faces on ads and if they like it or the picture make them believe that this person is really good, they will vote for it!
I mean the faces on ads is some kind of techniques which are used to make an impression on people!

Group weblog reminder
Two reminders about your group weblog projects:
- Each member of the group must write a minimum of one substantial entry per week. Be sure you are logged in under your own account when you do this.
- I noticed a few people now have entries on their individual weblogs (not the group weblogs) that sound like what you were planning to write on the group weblog. Please check to be sure the writing you intend for the group weblog is actually appearing on the group weblog, not your individual weblog.

political ads
There are so many political advertisiments in Almaty and Kazakhtan at all. Because of the structure of our country we feel ourselves comfortable to such huge number of ads in Almaty. Let's take just city.
This city is the southest capital of Kazakhstan and it seems to be financial center. In the previous posts I wrote about ad on the hotel "Kazakhstan". This is really perfect example of political ad. When new year is coming they just post 2009 but when period of celebration is over they post 2030 and everybody knows what does it mean. read more »

One joke says that her hair-dress is the wolf's skin, meat outside and in one of the BBC shows Timoshenko told a joke that stated her tail of hair as a wheel of the government. She successfully built her image as a very ambitious, powerful, strong women, however, with kind heart and great soul. read more »
